JCB Precision Tool & Mold Inc.'s offers a variety of plastic injection mold design and tooling services.  Our toolmakers are highly experienced and detail oriented. This requires regular review of the efficiency of our processes and quality control monitoring. Our toolmakers try to "think outside the mold", utilizing your investment in the most efficient way possible. This includes extensive project analysis that is fine-tuned to the customer's budget and needs. Our tolerance standard in process is +/- 0.0005 throughout the tooling department.

From hand drawn sketches to 3D CAD drawings, JCB can convert all types of data into STL files. STL files are used to create SLA (Stereolithographic) parts, laser sintering, or RTV Mold Prototype parts that can then be used for testing functionality or fit and finish. These capabilities put us in the forefront of rapid part generation.


At JCB, we use state of the art CAD/CAM software including ProEngineer Wildfire 4.0 with Expert Machinist, and MasterCam X4. These are some of the most powerful CAD/CAM programs available and we strive to keep up with the constantly changing technological advances in the industry. We have extensive experience in part design and research and development. With our team of experienced personnel and engineering, we can provide the means to transform your idea into reality according to your exact specifications.

Mold Creation

Our advanced computerized machinery assists with the physical completion of your project into reality. JCB utilizes four CNC machine centers in addition to a full complement of standard machining equipment including manual mills, lathes, EDMs and surface grinders. We guarantee the longevity of our molds by ensuring proper care through our in-house preventative maintenance program. Molds built by JCB are guaranteed for the maximum life of the mold, which prevents unexpected repair and maintenance costs. Fit and Finish

Once the mold is completed, it must go through fit and finishing. At this point, we process and refine the mold to meet the tightest of finish part tolerances capable of +/- 0.0005. Fit and finish processes include gating, venting, in-depth processing analysis, and fine polishing. We offer texturing and fine mold polishing up to a diamond finish SPI #1. These final steps and fine tuning ensure the highest quality mold possible.
